Participation Program

Parent and skater involvement is vital to the New Edge FSC program. There are many opportunities to get involved. Working at events and fundraisers, which are a major source of club income, is a great way to get started!

Participation Hours

• Families of NEFSC First Club Full members/NEFSC First Club Coaches/Adult members are expected to participate in this program and are required to fulfill 12 hours of participation per family (4 hours SkateFest Competition & 8 hours throughout the season).

• Each season runs July 1st to June 30th

• Please note: Ice Show volunteer requirements are separate as this is not a club event and these hours do not count towards your 12 hours.

• Each unfulfilled hour from the previous season must be paid $25 by the member when renewing.

• Introductory and Collegiate members are not required to fulfill this obligation, but are more than welcome to participate. Please be generous with your time.
